Meet The Crew

Terri Sopha is the daughter of our beloved artist, Dave Sopha. She has been running the general day-to-day for Portraits of Honour since the beginning and in 2017 officially became our CEO. She enjoys helping her community whenever possible.

Dave might have been short in stature but he was larger than life in personality. He took up the entire room. His big heart and incredible artistic skills led him to reach out and design the Portraits of Honour painting.

Tayllore is the granddaughter of the late artist, Dave Sopha, and daughter to our CEO, Terri. Following in her family's footsteps, she went on the 2011 National Tour, taking on the role of photographer for many events along the way. And holds the position of secretary for the Foundation today.

Richard has been proudly involved with Portraits of Honour since 2009. He is the Foundations President and has been since 2021. He was Vice President since 2017 until his succession. 

Dean has been a with Portraits of honour since it's inception, first as a volunteer and then working his way up to  his current role of VP. 

Wendy is an integral member of the team, working alongside the CEO and the city to obtain permits and licencing required for various events. She also helps with the promotions of all upcoming events, and taking time to volunteer during each event.

Sharon spends her time with Portraits of Honour coming with various fundraising ideas, prepping and volunteering at the majority of our functions as well as helping to promote the foundation. 

Linda has been a volunteer with Portraits of Honour since the beginning and is, in fact, one of  the original Portraits of Honour Tour Team Members!

Robin started with Portraits of Honour as a volunteer several years ago and has since become the webmaster, social media manager, and events photographer. She enjoys her new role within Portraits of Honour immensely. 

Tom has been a outstanding volunteer since 2019, helping out alongside his wife, Linda, wherever we may need extra support.

Trisha is currently our fundraising coordinator though she has been a dedicated volunteer through the years as well. 

Chris has been an active volunteer since the beginning of Kin Canada's involvement with the Portraits of Honour
